Tammy Abi-Khalil is a passionate advocate for families, seniors, and community members across Ward 9. With a strong background in caregiving, public service, and community involvement, Tammy has built her career around helping others and standing up for the people she serves.
As a mother of children with special needs, Tammy understands how city decisions show up in real family life: accessibility, safe streets, recreation, transit, services, and the pressure parents feel when systems are slow, confusing, or hard to navigate.
Tammy has also supported elderly and Alzheimer's patients, as well as children with special needs. That work shaped her understanding of compassion, patience, and the everyday challenges many families face.
Tammy's family also owns and operates Paul Davis Restoration Huron Perth, where the work is about helping people during some of the hardest moments of their lives, when homes, memories, and personal belongings may be at risk. That experience reinforces Tammy's belief that service should be practical, compassionate, and there when people need it most.
Her commitment to public service includes serving as Volunteer Coordinator for a federal election campaign, sitting on two Electoral District Association boards, being an active member of the Lambeth Legion, and working in a federal constituency office where she sees residents' concerns first-hand. Through her political experience and her work supporting residents through the constituency office, Tammy has built an extensive foundation in how government works at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels.
Tammy and her family have proudly called the Lambeth area home for nine years. Together, they are raising four active children involved in sports and community activities, while their oldest proudly serves in the military.
